Oak Run Ocala

Oak Run is one of the larger gated 55+ communities located just off SR 200 in the SW corridor area of Ocala. The approximately 3500 homes here range in age from mid 1980s to 2007.  Oak Run is divided into several neighborhoods, each one with a unique character, reflecting when each neighborhood was constructed. The older homes are of frame and siding, construction, while newer homes are concrete block and stucco.  HOA fees vary by neighborhood, with a very few areas that have lawn care included, at a correspondingly higher HOA fee.   Golf is not included in any of the HOA fees.

Oak Run has 3 guarded entrance gates. Base amenities include basic cable, trash pickup, guard gate and common area maintenance.   There is an impressive array of amenities available to residents, with 5 (yes, five!) different and amazing recreational facilities…………….

Palm Grove Multipurpose Center is the center for great entertainment. This 18,000 square foot space with moveable walls provides the perfect venue meetings, clubs, community theater or one of the popular community diner dance events.

The Palm Grove Fitness Center is an amazing 12,000 square foot, state-of-the-art, dedicated health center that rivals any in the area, with top of the line exercise equipment, strategically placed televisions, hardwood floors, and dedicated areas for aerobic and yoga classes.  Outdoors you can relax in the tropical pool area or enjoy the Jacuzzi spa.

The Island Club features three specialty pools including a lap pool, an aquacizing pool for water exercises and a lounge pool and spa for relaxing.

The Aquatic Sports Club features an indoor heated pool, perfect for aquacizing or just getting out of the weather.

If golf is what you crave, you can purchase a membership to The Royal Oaks Golf Course, the 18 hole, 6,703-yard, par-72 championship course that winds throughout the community.  Royal Oaks features a beautiful clubhouse, excellent restaurant and a well-equipped pro shop for a luxurious golf experience.   Each hole has 4 tee boxes, varying the distance to the hole, as well as changing the angle and approach.  There is also a full time PGA pro on staff for lessons or club fittings.
